Museums in the Classroom
Students choose a theme, write a mission statement, create artifacts and apply and interview for jobs as museum professionals. The process includes designing and building the exhibit space, publicizing the museum, caring for the objects and providing activities for the target audience. The final project is a student-created museum in their classroom, open to the public.
