Celebrating
200 Years Of
James Vanderpoel House

1820-2020
& Federal Style
in Columbia County

Celebrating with you at our annual First Columbians gala is a highlight of each year. For the safety of our guests, staff, and community, this year was a very special “un-gala”!

In place of dinner and entertainment, many of you joined as 'Publishers' to become part of the history of the James Vanderpoel House in celebration of its 200-year anniversary. From Collectible Commemorative books to private Curator tours of our newest exhibits to an exclusive, limited edition printed “Drive Through History” road trip map of Federal structures, our 2020 Publishers  helped us celebrate and preserve Columbia County’s heritage in this most extraordinary and historic year. The commemorative set of Vanderpoel tomes is now available in our online SHOP.
