BECOME A TRUSTEE Become more involved in the Columbia County Historical Society by joining our Board of Trustees, or joining one of its standing committees. Now is a good time to apply. Our board currently has several openings for Trustees with three-year terms. Trustees meet six times throughout the year guiding CCHS in its overall mission, establishing strategy and budgets. Trustee Applicants must be current regular members of the Columbia County Historical Society. Development is a primary concern of the board so a willingness to participate, or encourage others to participate, in our fund-raising efforts will be an important qualification—but not the only one. Assisting our staff with programming, preservation activities and membership-building are all ways for board members to support CCHS.
